Delete your FraudReader account

You can permanently delete your account and associated FraudReader cloud data from inside the app. If you cannot access the app, you can send a deletion request here.

Recommended

Delete directly in FraudReader

  1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Account and sign-in.
  4. Choose Delete account, read the subscription warning, and confirm permanent deletion.
  5. If requested, sign in again and repeat the deletion for security.

Deletion is immediate after successful confirmation. The account cannot be restored.

Support may need to verify account ownership. We will never ask for your password, one-time code, BankID approval or payment details.

What is deleted

  • Your FraudReader authentication account and sessions.
  • Account-owned consent and mailbox connection records.
  • Encrypted mailbox credentials held by FraudReader.
  • Account-owned scans, reports, limits and verified subscription metadata.

Separate actions you may need to take

  • Subscriptions: deleting FraudReader does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel or manage it in the relevant store.
  • Provider access: disconnect Gmail or Outlook in FraudReader when possible. You can also remove FraudReader from your Google or Microsoft account permissions.
  • Local data: clear scan history in Settings. Uninstalling the app removes remaining app-local data.

Legally required records, if any, will be handled under the final published Privacy Policy and retention schedule.
